Invite teammates from Settings, Team: enter an email, pick a role, send. The invite link signs them straight into your shop. Pending invites can be copied or revoked.
The three roles
| Role | What they can do | What they cannot |
|---|---|---|
| Admin | Everything: financials, billing, settings, integrations, team | Nothing off limits |
| Service writer | Front desk: quotes, invoices, scheduling, assigning, taking payment | Financials, billing, settings; not assignable on the schedule board |
| Technician | The work: assigned jobs, time logging, inspections, plus scheduling and taking payment | Financials, billing, settings |
Roles are permission tiers, not job titles. An owner is simply an admin.
Per-member settings
Expand any member on the Team page to set:
- Show on schedule. Whether they appear as a lane on the schedule board. Techs default on, service writers off.
- Diag-capable. Marks who can take diagnostic drop-offs; booking capacity checks respect it.
- Working hours. Their availability for scheduling.
What each person sees
Technicians get a simplified welcome and see only what they need: their board, their jobs, inspections. Financials and most of Settings are visible to admins only. Everyone manages their own profile and two-factor authentication.
Tip
Time-off requests live on the Schedule page: techs request, admins approve, and the calendar reflects it automatically.
